Rosa Serrano, who has earned academic degrees in the fine arts, own Restoration Studio. Rosa is an accomplished painter and watercolorist. She has been engaged in the art of restoration in Sonoma County since 1988. She and Rosa's assistant Mary were trained at Venerable Classics. Mary became a master bonder and Rosa a master decorator.
My approach to restoration is firstly, to survey the piece in an effort to gain insight to the creative processes of the original artist. Secondly, I outline a plan to restore physical and visual integrity to the art object. In this context I can provide display as well as functional levels of restoration quality--at competitive prices.
Restoration Studio is located in Santa Rosa's Creekside Center between Brookwood Ave. and Montgomery Drive. Estimates will be given without a fee.
